Australia’s Ashleigh Barty achieved the biggest win of the year after taking out the 2018 WTA Elite Trophy Zhuhai at Hengqin International Tennis Center on Sunday.

The season-ending WTA Elite Trophy Zhuhai, to be held in Hengqin New Area from 30 October to 4 November 2018, has announced its full lineup.

Residents of Macau, Hong Kong and Taiwan alongside foreigners who need to enter Hengqin for business, visits, trade or tourism can apply for port visas from the administration.

The Zhuhai Championship, part of the 2018 PGA Tour Series-China, was completed at Hengqin’s Orient Golf Club on Sunday with American Kevin Techakanokboon winning his first professional title.

Two additional roller coasters and a tower-based amusement ride have begun soft operations at the theme entertainment zone of Hero Island at Chimelong International Ocean Tourist Resort in Hengqin.

With the theme of “Amour”, the Beishan Jazz Festival 2018 will conduct its first performances at Central Plaza of Inno Valley HQ on 12 and 13 October before returning to Beishan Village on 14 October.

The fourth season of PGA TOUR Series-China will conclude in October with its final three tournaments of 2018 to take place in Macau, Hengqin and Hong Kong.

On 20 September, the 2018 Tour of China Zhuhai Hengqin stage began at Hengqin Tennis Center Zhuhai. A total of 22 teams from 15 countries and regions took part.

Hengqin International Tennis Center will be open for use by residents of Zhuhai, Hong Kong and Macau free of charge from 11 August to 31 December, Huafa Sports has revealed.

The Zijin Hengqin Lecture Series was held on 4 August at Xiangzhou Port in Hengqin, bringing a traditional Chinese cultural feast with the characteristics of the Forbidden City to attendees from Hengqin and neighbor cities.
