Top football players, officials, executives and professional managers from well-known football clubs around the world will gather at Zhuhai International Convention & Exhibition Center in Hengqin on Tuesday 17 April and Wednesday 18 April for the first-ever Soccerex China.
Established in 1995, Soccerex is the leading provider of business events for the global football community. Soccerex China will combine a conference program with an exhibition and a program of tailored networking events. It will also feature a number of former players and key FIFA personnel including FIFA Secretary General Fatma Samoura, who will be addressing delegates at the opening. Brazilian-born Portugal and Barcelona legend Deco and Argentinian great Hernán Crespo are featured speakers.
Altogether, 180 domestic and international footballing clubs and organizations are booked to attend including AC Milan, Adidas, FC Bayern Munich, Chongqing Dangdai Lifan FC, Desports, Hublot, Jiangsu Sunning FC, LaLiga, Lander Sports (owners of Southampton FC), Manchester United FC, NFL, Shandong LungengTaishan FC, US Soccer Federation, Wanda Sports. Clubs Primera División (La Liga), Premier League, Ligue 1 Conforama, Serie A, Bundesliga, Japan Professional Football League and Eredivisie.
Shandong Luneng and Guangzhou R&F will send representatives on behalf of the Chinese Football Association Super League while the Hong Kong and Macau football associations will attend as ambassadors for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area.
The event will provide exclusive insight into the latest developments and innovations in football governance, technology and commercial growth.
The third Macao International Economic and Trade Cooperation Summit and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area Development Forum was held on 6 June in Macau.
Hengqin Government announced on 16 May that it will hold a global innovation and entrepreneurship competition annually, and participants are not limited to nationality and the winning team will receive RMB100 million
The Zhuhai Intellectual Property Public Service Center opened on 26 April 2018 in Hengqin. The center will be operated by the Hengqin International Intellectual Property Exchange (HIPEX) National Platform Agency, which will provide resources supporting and management expertize.
The service center offers innovative “one-stop” services that focus on addressing social management follow-up service issues and optimizing administrative services.
