Hengqin Record reported recently that the 4th China-Israel Investment Summit will kick off on Monday 2 July, the largest state-level event of its kind.

The organizer has now revealed that more than 4,000 participants from 2,000 organizations and companies are confirmed to attend the Summit, to be held at the Zhuhai International Conference & Exhibition Center located in Shizimen CBD.

Important figures from Chinese and Israeli political, academic and corporate circles will gather under the theme “Cooperating on innovation and intelligently creating a bright future for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area.”

Cooperation will be extended in the fields of industrial manufacturing and automation, the internet, information technology, agriculture, food, clean energy, energy conservation, environmental protection, medical health, life sciences, financial investment and academic research, among others.

Dr Xu Xiaonian, a senior economist at the China Europe International Business School, will be a keynote speaker at the opening ceremony.

Dong Mingzhu, Chairwoman of Gree Electric Appliances; Yao Yudong, former head of the Research Institute of Finance & Banking of the People’s Bank and Deputy General Manager of Dacheng Fund; Shraga Brosh, President of the Manufacturers Association of Israel; Meron Gribetz, founder of Meta Group and others will share their insights into creating more value and delivering higher returns in the new round of allocating global resources.

Representatives from Alibaba, Huawei, IBM, Accenture, Aviation Industry Corp of China, Yanhua Smartech, Beijing Automotive Group, People’s Bank of China and the Export-Import Bank of China will speak at roundtable forums. Also present will be professors and experts from prestigious universities such as Tsinghua, Peking, Fudan, Tel Aviv and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Summits, seminars and business-to-business networking are on the agenda. Israeli companies in concert with some of China’s leading hi-tech firms will also hold thematic roadshows on the world’s latest technological innovations. The intellectual patent auction is highly anticipated.

With the return of the event, Zhuhai is planning the establishment of a China-Israel Innovative Enterprise Alliance, Zhuhai (Israel) Innovation Center, China-Israel IPR Trade Platform and Sino-Israeli Innovation Accelerator.

The event is sponsored by the International Cooperation Center of the National Development & Reform Commission and Zhuhai municipal government and is organized by Zhuhai Huafa Group and Infinity Group.
