A Macau University Student Summer Internship Program has been officially launched at Inno Valley HQ, also known as Macao-Hengqin Youth Entrepreneurship Valley, with over 100 university students from Macau now enjoying a four-week internship in Hengqin New Area.

According to the organizer, the internship program runs from 2 to 27 July, welcoming students from the University of Macau, Macau University of Science and Technology, City University of Macau and Macao Polytechnic Institute to conduct internships with government agencies, state-owned enterprises, financial institutions and well-known private enterprises in Hengqin.

Those companies welcoming interns include the Administrative Committee of Hengqin New Area, Zhuhai Da Heng Qin Company Limited, Hengqin Development Limited Liability Company, Traditional Chinese Medicine Science and Technology Industrial Park of Co-operation between Guangdong and Macao, Zhuhai Chimelong International Ocean Tourist Resort and Hengqin Bringbuys Network Technology Co Ltd.

In accordance with the professional characteristics of Macau universities, the organizer carefully selected a group of practical internships focusing on fields such as finance, science and technology, exhibitions and tourism. As part of their internships, students will visit and study well-known enterprises in Zhuhai, with Zhuhai’s young entrepreneurs invited to share their stories and experiences with students face-to-face.

The program is being conducted by the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macau SAR and is organized by the Administrative Committee of Hengqin New Area, aiming to further deepen the cooperation and to promote talent exchange as well as creating an innovative and entrepreneurial atmosphere between Zhuhai and Macau.
