Hengqin and Macau to hold regular youth entrepreneurship training camps

Hengqin New Area’s Inno Valley HQ has just celebrated its third anniversary.
Also known as the Macau-Hengqin Youth Entrepreneurship Valley, Inno Valley HQ is a demonstrative innovative industrial base and talent accumulation center for Macau and mainland Chinese youth – as well as foreigners with Macau One-Way Permits – who want to start their own ventures.
During the past three years it has achieved remarkable results in promoting cooperation between Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau, promoting the integration of science and technology, accelerating the gathering of high-end talent, strengthening the cultivation of high-end industries and accumulating innovative and collaborative resources.
Encompassing office, commercial, service and residential facilities, the valley provides venture capital investment, business services and other top-grade resources plus advanced support facilities for youth to launch their ventures.
In addition to offering a free workplace for the first year, Inno Valley HQ provides a complete communications network, public services, convention and business centers, an exhibition hall and other facilities plus one-stop services combining personnel recruitment, industrial and commercial registration, taxation registration and banking.
It has also established a “support-tutor-fund” three-dimensional venture incubation platform to help businesses grow and endeavors to become a venture-start-up land for the “Internet+” idea in the Pearl River Delta.
Internet+ is an idea proposed by China’s Prime Minister Li Keqiang in 2015 and refers to the application of the internet and other information technology in conventional industries.
According to the Hengqin government, Inno Valley HQ has incubated 275 startups through June 2018, including 154 Hong Kong and Macau entrepreneurial teams. A total of 22 enterprises have obtained venture capital worth a combined 414 million yuan while 27 national high-tech enterprises have been cultivated. The incubating enterprises have applied for more than 80 scientific and technological projects, with a total of more than 10 million yuan in funding. Over 300 patents have been granted.
On 12 December 2017, Inno Valley HQ became the first State-level sci-tech enterprise incubator in Hengqin.

The plaza is one of the first Macau SAR recommended entrants into Guangdong-Macau Cooperation Industrial Park in Hengqin New Area.
Themed “Dialogue with the New Era”, the 4th China Reform (Hengqin) Forum was held in Hengqin on 7 September.

於2015年6月29日投入使用的橫琴·澳門青年創業谷，緊鄰澳門，集商務辦公，商業服務，人才公寓於一體，設有「創業載體+創新資源+創投資本」的立體孵化模式，為企業提供「苗圃 – 孵化器 – 加速器」服務，是面向海內外青年的全方位開放式創業基地。
據介紹，過去3年，在該園區已累計孵化275家企業，其中港澳創業團隊154家，佔比六成;引進1名中國科學院院士，1名挪威技術科學院院士，吸引60名國家「千人計劃」專家落戶，高層次人才聚集效應已經凸顯。
數據表明，在此園區已累計有22家企業獲得風險投資，融資額4.14億元;已培育國家高新技術企業27家，孵化企業累計申報各項科技項目超過80項，共獲得資助資金逾1000萬元，累計申報專利數量超過600件，已獲授權專利數量超過300件。
去年12月，這個創業園區已成功創建成為國家級科技企業孵化器，更先後被授予廣東省粵港澳台科技企業孵化器，粵港澳青年創新創業基地等。
