HZMB vehicle toll collection fees determined

According to the official WeChat account of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge (HZMB) Authority, toll collection fees for the bridge toll station have been determined. They include small passenger vehicles such as private cars and taxis at RMB150, large passenger buses at RMB200; shuttle buses at RMB300, ordinary trucks at RMB60 and container trucks at RMB115.

The bridge has a toll station on the Zhuhai and Macau side and all vehicles driving on the bridge will pay at this tollbooth. There are 20 toll lanes in total. Vehicles can deduct their toll automatically by ETC and Hong Kong Autotoll as well as via Alipay, WeChat and in cash using RMB.

The specific opening date of the bridge has yet to be announced.

Since the traffic rules of the three different regions are different, traffic rules of mainland China will be implemented on the bridge with driving to be on the right. Traffic will convert to driving on the left at the Hong Kong and Macau crossings.

Vehicles allowed onto the bridge are to be restricted primarily to those with a China-HK Cross-Border License Plate, HK-Macau Cross-Border License Plate, Hong Kong license plates with Macau permission and vehicles that apply for a one-time quota, plus those that receive permission by any of the three respective governments.
