Zhuhai will host the 4th China-Israel Investment Summit at the International Conference & Exhibition Center in Hengqin from 2 to 3 July 2018.
The summit will be co-organized by Zhuhai Huafa Group and Israel-based Infinity Group and is sponsored by the International Cooperation Center of the National Development & Reform Commission as well as the Zhuhai Municipal Government.
Considered the premiere event for cross-border collaboration between Israel and China, the summit will unite leading players from the Israeli high-tech scene with Chinese partners drawn to Israeli innovation, laying the groundwork for partnerships that have to date yielded over US$4 billion in proposed investments, according to the organizer.
Last year’s China-Israel Investment Summit attracted representatives from over 2,700 companies and more than 5,800 visitors from the two countries and led to the establishment of the National Israel-China Innovation Fund. Agreements for 14 Sino-Israeli cooperation projects were signed while 2,653 discussions took place between companies, resulting in the signing of over 1,000 letters of intent valued at billions of US dollars, according to Huafa.
This year’s edition has invited powerful guests from China’s and Israel’s political, academic and business circles. They will join more than 2,000 guests to share their wisdom and discuss important topics including Sino-Israeli cooperation on technological innovation and furthering development in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area under the “One Belt, One Road” initiative.
Of particular focus this year will be industries in which the two countries excel and have a deep mutual interest, including smart manufacturing, the digital economy, intellectual property, bio-medicine and smart cities. Israeli companies in concert with some of China’s leading hi-tech firms will also hold thematic roadshows, giving participants the opportunity to experience the world’s latest technological innovations first hand.
