HQR enjoys a “Feast” at Sheraton Zhuhai

One of the first questions that Hengqin Record asked as we were preparing for launch earlier this year was where we could go to find a quality business-style lunch.

It didn’t take us long, therefore, to discover Feast – an Italian restaurant located in Sheraton Zhuhai.

Overlooking Macau’s Cotai Strip and much of Hengqin Island, the Sheraton is located in the Shizimen District just steps away from the Zhuhai International Exhibition Center.

It is one of the first five star hotels in Hengqin and undoubtedly among the best high-end business hotels in the city, with food to match.

It is also the perfect season to visit, with Director of Culinary for the hotel, Ray Liew, having put together a special summer menu for the month of August to highlight the region’s best cuisine.

A Malaysian native who speaks several languages, Ray Liew is a multiple award-winning chef who is distinguished by his culinary fluency across a diverse range of cultures. He launched his career in Singapore where he trained with several European Michelin-starred chefs and learned the art of fine French cuisine. At Sheraton Zhuhai Hotel Liew oversees the hotel’s five culinary experiences.

Among the August highlights are insalata caprese, Boston lobster risotto, parmesan and thyme tart, pepperoni, classic minestrone with basil pesto sauce and Italian vegetable omelet.

If you’re in town and in need of a feed, Feast comes highly recommended.
