Zhuhai’s first professional organization to mediate business and commercial disputes, The Hengqin New Area Guozhong Civil & Commercial Mediation Center, was officially unveiled this month.
The Hengqin New Area Guozhong Civil & Commercial Mediation Center is a non-profit social organization and privately operated non-business commercial mediation organization. It was conceived by the Hengqin Financial Industry, Hengqin Consumers Associations and Zhuhai Arbitration Commission.
As an independent third-party legal service organization, the center, with a team boasting experience in international and domestic commercial legal affairs, helps to legally settle contract disputes concerning trade, investment, finance, securities, intellectual property, technology transfer, real estate, project contracts, transportation and insurance. The service is also available for civil disputes.
Mediation, which is often low-cost, time-saving and efficient, is an alternative to lawsuits and conducive to the success of a market-oriented economy.
